Core Strategies is a dynamic, growing, full service market research firm located in Southern California . We are comprised of a group of energetic, entrepreneurial professionals, providing insights to marketers in the consumer and information technology industry.

We are seeking a seasoned sales executive, with solid experience in selling of market research using a consultative approach.  This role has the potential to lead to an equity position in the firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify and qualify prospective customers for qualitative and quantitative research
Report to the Partners on status of sales and new business development on a weekly basis.
Develop strong relationships with prospective new clients and existing customers.
Maintain strong working knowledge of research methods.
Provide sales ideas, case consultation, product information and be a general resource for the producers for sales related topics.
Travel occasionally to attend industry meetings as well as to conduct in-person agency visits and training sessions.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Proven track record of selling market research

Location: Southern California

Experience in technology industry a plus
Strong understanding of how companies use market research to improve their strategic performance

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience dealing with marketing and product management professionals in large corporations
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must be a self-motivated individual who will take ownership and initiative. Must have great presentation/public speaking skills to make both group and individual sales presentations.
